Eldridge Estate PTG 2017

Such a versatile red. So delicious - dare I use the word smashable.

A 60/40 blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay. It's a slight shift from the usual 50/50 but the quality and satisfaction delivered certainly haven't wavered.

This wine is David Lloyd's cash flow machine - it outsells the Fumé Blanc 2:1 and generally sells out quick smart. The beauty of this wine is that the same fruit goes to the estate Pinot and Gamay, yet here, they are blended to produce a superb, easy drinking wine. Serve as is or even slightly chilled in warmer months. Gorgeous!

It's savoury first up before juicy red cherries, summer berries and fruits bound through effortlessly. The energy through the mid-palate is seducing before those savoury characters are met with fine spices to arrest the power back again with a salivating crunch to close. Ridiculously easy drinking with the pleasure factor cranked high. Find this.

Drink now, don't wait.
