Angove Alternatus Grenache 2016

Rubbing my hands together with glee... Lip smacking Grenache right here folks!

Attractive aromas woo me in from the outset - blue fruits, perhaps a touch of violet and dried red flowers. Down the hatch and things get serious. It's generous yet sits on an even keel. Dark fruits are matched by barbecued meats. A sprinkle of spice almost seems endless with a fine tannin urging a repeat dose.

Great stuff!

Drink now to five years.
