Singlefile Wines Denmark Family Reserve Chardonnay 2016

Downright delicious and classy. A super Chardy from Denmark in Western Australia!

Planted in 1989, the vineyard is 60 metres above sea level. The vineyard is a very slow ripening and tends to maintain its natural acidity while developing ripeness.

This fruit was harvested by hand, whole bunch pressed and fermented in 40% new and 60% one year old French oak barriques. The wine spent eight months in oak with partial MLF (approx 18%).

Ticking all the boxes, immerse yourself in lime leaf, white fleshed stone fruit and juicy grapefruit. Generosity is a hallmark of this wine - handfuls of fruit are lobbed at you before layers of toasted almonds and vanilla cream are wrapped up by balanced finely etched acidity. Big love.

Drink now to ten years.
