Aphelion The Confluence Grenache 2019

Juicy red fruit is the game here. Cut loose. It is such a fab drink and then some.

Strawberries, red cherry juice and raspberries all the way. Shades of blackcurrant and mandarin peel make an appearance too. Some char and earthiness chime in adding veneers of pleasure. Delicate long sheets of spice tick away and urge more attention. A fine veil of tannin is draped across the palate with a savoury factor that creeps up. Such a fabulous wine, it is one which is best enjoyed on your own - it's too good to share.

Drink to five years.
