Airlie Bank Chardonnay 2014

Quite aromatic in the glass. Stone fruits with a hint of homemade lemonade; an enticing start. The fruit is soft and has good presence with a gentle creamy character sitting quietly.

A likeable wine for sure but then comes the acid. It's almost as though it's trying shoulder its way to the front of the queue. And it does plonking itself down and staying put. That pegged it back a little for mine.

Have with roast chicken or pork and that will passively sooth it.

Good.
