Packed with blackberry and plummy fruit, a black pepper spine runs through the wine. 100% barrel fermented in new and used American and Hungarian oak, there's a dab oak sweetness. It's very easy to get caught up in what lay before when the super fine and soft finish seals the deal. Very classy and well made.
I was surprised by the price too - I thought for sure it would be $30+. Great buying for $28 and a wine for the medium term.
Excellent.
