Shottesbrooke Estate Merlot 2014

Dark plums, some blue fruits. Nothing really savoury comes forth.

Pretty one dimensional. Nothing offensive here, what you see is what you get. Decent weight and length. Simple drinking pleasure and a sturdy bet for those who don't want anything confronting. Not something I'd buy but there are plenty who would. A good place to start your adventure into the world of red wine.

Good.
