Chemin Chardonnay 2013

This wine grew on me the longer it sat in the glass.

Barrel fermented, those characters really drive through and take centre stage. It's buttery with vanilla, lemon curd and nougat. The glistening golden colour has appeal too.

The fruit is a little lean and there is an acid pinch. You can almost draw a line between the fruit and acid, but the longer it sits the more these two mesh together. The length is deliciously long. I like that.

Smack bang in the middle of good and very good. Makes it a Good+ doesn't it?
