Lowe Wines Tinja Chardonnay 2014

Named after the Lowe family's "Tinja" property in Orange, this is the first organic Chardonnay they have produced.

Intriguing aromas of baby spinach leaves, freshly torn basil, some citrus notes and some canned apple.

The flavours aren't over the top but there is some depth and a warmth which sits long. There's a grip to the wine too which makes me think this would support food nicely. It reminds me of an Italian chicken dish I cook with fresh herbs and cherry tomatoes.  This would match perfectly.

Drink in the short term.

Good.
