Water Wheel Memsie Homestead Shiraz 2013

A decent wine this. Give it a swirl in the glass and once it settles you pick up tar, dark fruit and plums.

Attractive dark crimson and dark cherry appearance, it's all mid palate and quite linear. Plums the dominant feature amongst the dark berry fruits. Not too much acid to speak of but this is deliberate I imagine as it is a drink now style. Grippy, grunty tannins to finish.

Good value, this is a pizza, meat balls, spag bol sort of wine.

Good.
