The fruit comes from the Waitaki Valley which is on the boundary of North Otago and Canterbury on the south island. A single vineyard wine, it is hand picked and sustainable viticulture practices as used.
Wickedly fresh and vibrant, this is packed with white fleshed peaches and pears. A whiff of pineapple husk and white field flowers add further interest to the very engaging aromas thrown out.
The stone fruit and crumble laden palate is crisp but with a textural edge. A deceptive length delivers a lingering creaminess.
I'd go here again for sure.
