Pizzini Riesling 2014

Pretty aromas of white flowers, frangipani and honey. It's fresh and engaging but this excitement didn't flow through to the palate.

Lime pith and citrusy characters turn up but I felt the fruit was thin. I walked away a little deflated probably because I know the heights Pizzini have reached. Having said all that, it's certainly not a poor wine, just one which just didn't light my fire on this occasion.
