Witches Falls Prophecy Syrah 2012

I was initially confronted by the guts and depth of this Syrah. I was actually expecting something a little more sedate. Such is the element of surprise!

Lots of black and dark fruits along with some chocolate. A wine which has obviously been caressed to deliver nicely integrated oak, fine tannins and a generous length. The fruit was the highlight as it just slips in softly and effortlessly and leaves in much the same fashion.

I'd suggest a little time in the cellar though and this will only bring out an even better result.

Very good.
