Oliver's Taranga Grenache 2014

Disappointingly, this stops short like one of George Costanza's signature moves.

Driven by savoury characters, red plums and red fruit, more so on the red berry spectrum though. Some vanilla pod kicks in with peppery spice on exit.  It's not where the 2013 was however. I'm confident of that because I bought a few and regrettably I wouldn't part with my cash so freely here. Delivery is flat and uneventful, almost as if it to left its dancing shoes at home. That spicy zing kicks through though. A warm year and low yields at play perhaps.
