Comyns & Co. Mrs White 2016

Another kick arse label design, another kick arse wine from Scott Comyns in his new solo venture.

Named Mrs White after his kids first chook, this is a blend of Viognier, Semillon and Fiano with 1% Muscat also tossed in, well, 'just coz' as Scotty tells me. Add to that four months in oak and boom boom! It all just freakin' works!

Apricot aromas from the Viognier get things going before some citrus and then yellow and white stone fruit kick in. The floral lift and spice from the Muscat cannot be disputed which really lifts the wine.

Delivery is well poised and neatly balanced. The palate is generously filled - it's just so smashable and delicious.

Like Comyn's Fiano release, keeping your glass topped up could be the issue - drinkability factor is cranked high. Hunt them down online.

Drink now.

93/100 - Very good.
