I wasn't completely sold on this Cabernet, though I think it will turn the corner with some more time in bottle.
Roasted peppers, tobacco leaf, lots of plum density and Cabernet leafiness holds true. Still quite youthful, it comes across chewy and cluncky in some respects. Acid shoulders the fruit to the side and needs time to settle.
I'd like to see this in a year or two - it just needs to settle into a groove.
