Is it uncouth to drink a wine through a straw? Anyway, you might find me doing just that with this Hesketh Adelaide Hills Gamay 2024. Juicy, buoyant and smashable deluxe, it's worth getting some and not sharing. It's brilliant!
Light to medium bodied, this would churn through the stock if it were on pour at a trendy bar. Terrific value for $32, it's a fun and mega approachable wine. Spiced berries, dark cherries and blueberries skip from the glass. Lacey and delicate, it flows with grace and caresses the mouth seductively. There is a little tension that powers home late with a delicately fine spicy tail. You could guzzle this and not feel guilty. Beautiful stuff. I will be buying some.
