Smart, crisp, wonderfully approachable, if you see this Hesketh Regional Selection Pinot Gris in the bottle shop fridge, don't err.
Green apples and a lick of apple sours launch from the glass with cut pear and some white fleshed peach. It offers a good coating of fruit that is nicely weighted with a longer than expected finish. Soft white pepper and cinnamon spice add interest whispering at you to return for another dose time and again. A cheeky green apple cameo on close is a neat parting gift. A big tick from me.
