Arneis was first produced by Vietti in 1967 at a time when no one else was making it. Fast forward to now and 14 million bottles are being produced in the Piedmot region. This 2024 is a super apertivo option.
Whole bunch pressed to stainless steel and three months on lees, this is a fresh and vibrant vintage. Tasted at the cellar door with Vietti's winemaker of 23 years Eugenio Palumbo, it's easy to see his passion for the variety. Think hazelnuts, almonds, fleshy pears, little white flowers with a fine white pepper spice weaving through the core. Some weight is evident from time on lees and the acid is in the zone. Big love.
