De Bortoli Down The Lane Pinot Grigio Arneis 2016

'Like a dirty wet martini' as per the back label. A tasty little number for splashing about and not to be taken all that seriously. Good drinking.

Pinot Grigio, Arneis and a splash of Vermentino all fermented together.

Cut pear, green melon and honeysuckle lead the aromas with green apple in hot pursuit. More grip than your Dunlop Volleys, textural pear and quince rev things up through the mouth with a cheeky spice whipping up the tail on a clean and crisp finish.

Keen shoppers will find this around ten bucks which makes it a pretty sweet deal.

Drink now.
