Vermentino oozes refreshment factor. Be it on its own or with some food, there's so much I enjoy about the variety. Here's a very tidy example from the Barossa Valley.
There's plenty of aromas to muse over. Think limes and honeysuckle with cucumbers and tonic tucked in behind. So fresh and inviting, they all fold neatly onto the palate adding lemon zest. Clean and crisp with a zesty tang to finish, it's a delicious expression.
