An eye-catching wine with fabulous shelf appeal. A remake of one of Rembrandt's paintings adorns the front label recreated by the women of Penley Estate. Take a close look to see a few familiar faces... So delicious, it's a wine well worth tracking down.
The fruit was handpicked from Hickinbotham's Clarendon site with 30% whole bunches used and six months in French oak, 10% of which was new.
Released on 1 April, 2019, the fruit bounds along, damn this is lip smacking. Juicy red and blue fruit jostle for attention with pretty scents of violets and purple flowers. The whole bunches can be seen, if you go looking. They add a beautiful savoury character to the wine. The fruit continues to surge through framed by delicate spices. It just dances along to a memorable finish - oh, this is a peach. Great stuff Kate Goodman!
