Berton Vineyards White Rock Chardonnay 2018


Fellow writer Stu Robinson posed the question to me about the Berton Sauvignon Blanc - why would you plant Sauv Blanc in prime Riesling country (Eden Valley)? Fair cop that. Same could be said about Chardonnay really.

Quite flat and muted. It's a long way from what you'd term "modern Chardonnay". After a couple of revisits, I couldn't coax any personality from it. Next please.
