The vines for this wine were planted in the 1880's. Only 750 bottles were produced from this open fermented, basket pressed wine which sat in French oak for 24 months.
Lovely colour consistent to the hue, some mulchy, bark and composty aromas. Soft peppery spice and juicy fruit flavours deliver an elegant and refined wine. Plums, black fruits, earthiness, and dark chocolate steal the show. Marvellous stuff.
Lovers of Grenache will admire this without question.
