Huntington Estate Chardonnay Pinot Noir NV

A simple fizz with a 60/40 blend and a minimum 12 months on lees. There's a slight blush about its appearance. Not overly aromatic but a hint of strawberry and some stone fruit slowly reveal themselves. Lemons and a strawberries drive the flavour profile, some mild toast too. Quite linear in delivery it sticks to the mid palate and doesn't drive through. There's little persistence and it finished quickly than anticipated.

It has aperitif appeal but I'd prefer others for the money.
