Who doesn't love a sausage sizzle? This Shiraz would partner your snag on bread nicely as you relax in the park with friends.
The vines were planted in 1996. 20% whole bunches were used in the ferment with 30% seeing new French oak. Those savoury characters from the bunches certainly make their mark. A wine that is earthy with meaty edges, canned plums and sour black cherries push through. Drying, a deft touch of dried herbs tuck in behind too. A lemon acidity buzzes on a long finish.
Drink to five years.
