The back label says 'liquid Turkish delight' and that just about sums it up. Something a little different to take the sting out of a sweltering day perhaps?

Soumah Ai Fiori Rosato 2020

 

Ai Fiori means 'amongst the flowers' in Italian. In time, the aim is for this wine to be a blend of 100% Italian varieties. But as some young vines mature, the blend for now is Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir and Brachetto.

Pizzini Brachetto 2018


A quick look through the Qwine records shows this is the second Brachetto to make it to the bench. An Italian variety not all that common in Australia, this is some sweet fizz to keep your "I only drink sweet wine" mother or mother-in-law amused during the holiday season.

A little known Italian grape known to these shores. There are only a few plantings of it in Australia with this fruit sourced from the King Valley not surprisingly - there's lots of Italian there.
