I've got to say, I have been very impressed with the quality of the Punt Road wines I have sampled recently. They expressive, damn tasty and are modestly priced.
This Shiraz weighs in at $29 and is fresh with uplifting aromas. Cherries and red fruits in the form of raspberries dominate with a dusting of pepper. There's a savoury touch in there too with perhaps a little compost and cured meat. Get excited!
Well balanced with a fine tannins finish, dive into some climate deliciousness right here.
Cellar for the medium term but there's no time like the present with wines like this.
Excellent.
