Witches Falls Prophecy Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

An enjoyable Cabernet. Whilst the fruit seems a little leafy and green tinged, cigar box, fruit cake, dense berry fruit, dark chocolate play their hand appropriately as one would expect.

Savoury characters sit on the flank but it's those dark fruits which come to the fore. Quite forward actually. There's a sweetness to the aromas and that flows into the mouth. Tannins are plentiful that's for sure - dusty yet juicy. It's built for the long haul and it'd be good to see where it's at in a few years time.

Long term cellaring is certainly in the frame.
