Stonier W WB Pinot Noir 2012

If 100% whole bunch is your thing, dip your oar into this ocean of beauty.

From the Windmill vineyard which is humbly listed on the label only as a W, the WB obviously standing for Whole Bunch.

This just oozes class. Sprinkled with savoury charm, the fruit and oak walk in unison. The challenge with using whole bunches amongst other things is ensuring the bunches themselves aren't under ripe imparting a 'greenness' - no such problem here.

Red fruits are flanked by soft spices and a dusty/powdery like tannin. The mouth is filled with perfectly weighted fruit, raspberries keep coming to mind. The finish is long and most satisfying. A ripper!

Drink now to eight years.

95/100 - Excellent
