Eldridge Estate Fumé Blanc 2017

From one of the prettiest and oldest vineyards in the Mornington Peninsula region, this comes from a 3 hectare site. David Lloyd doesn't make a bad wine. It's not in his DNA. Here's a delicious take on Sauvignon Blanc.

A mix of clones, fermented and aged in French oak, 30% of which are new.

Green mango, cut herbs, guava, passionfruit and tropical nuances. A touch of savoury appeal is a neat touch. It's all measured and flows delightfully. Delicately textured with soft feels through the mouth finishing with a zippy tang. It's quite moreish yet not overly complex or weighty. Sauv Blanc how it ought to be.
