Gundog Estate Shiraz 2019

I love this. It is such a great drink. There are no losers here.

Wonderfully medium-bodied, dark plums, mulberries, char, cola and cedar seize the moment.

There is some density which I find captivating. It is a well-balanced wine and one you just want in your glass. Dark chocolate and fine spices unfurl slowly on a long and enjoyable finish. Great stuff.

Drink to five years.

  1. I think this is the straight Estate Shiraz (aka Canberra district shiraz as stated) and not the Hunter's as headlined, which you reviewed in October.
