A very smart Blewitt Springs Grenache to end the year.
Generous and intense are words that immediately come to mind. It's quite exotic in some respects but then there is a serious side that gets down to business. Sour cherries, dried cranberries and pomegranate lead the way. Red apple skin and raspberry fruit chimes in late. Medium-bodied, Five Spice trickles through delicately finishing with super fine tannins and a hint of red apple crunch from the acid. A strong Grenache game well played.
