The Davis Family have some great Wrattonbully Cabernet parcels which go to this label and to Peppertree.
Buckets of black fruits with a gentle savoury drive get you in the mood. Chocolate and leather, cassis and generous plummy fruits reach out for your attention early. It continues to evolve wonderfully over a couple of days with dried herbs, tomato leaf, a subtle touch of mint and well-handled tannins which point to an age-worthy wine. Good acidity knocks this into shape as scents of cedar continue to diffuse and fine spices bring this classy Cabernet to a close. Impressive.
