I tasted this beside the Block 3 Cabernet over three days. At this point in time, it is more refined and polished than its sibling. Quite spicy early though it settles. Spiced blackberries, lead pencil, dusty road earthiness all mesh beautifully. Some slight mintiness with dried thyme and sage add savoury pleasure along with a feathering of firm tannin which lies in its wake. An impressive wine hands down. I could be talked into another point.
