The fruit for this wine comes off estate dry grown vines.
Aromas of passata, tomato leaf, freshly torn basil leaves, and oregano. I'm thinking pizza already. Some blackcurrant and black berry flavours lob up but are not overly expressive.
The second day of tasting saw the fruit fade with a pinch of black pepper moving in. Drink in the short term for sure. Bitey acid calls for food to sit beside it.
The price is up there. Spend a few bucks more for the single varietals which are very good.
