A rich and giving Shiraz which is hard not to enjoy.
This is layered. Wallet Leather, sweet dark plums, dark cherries, dark berry fruit, a curious dab of vanilla, chocolate, dusty dirt road and five spice. Enough going on you think?
Nice depth and concentrated fruit. It doesn't flush out to back palate as much as I would have liked but the supple yet dense fruit ensures that is forgiven. Acid is brightish and the finish long and smooth. Some more time will align these two but still an enjoyable drop now.
Cellar for up to ten years and enjoy with a rib roast.
Very good.
