This comes across as more polished than the Coolart Road, but certainly doesn't have the depth. 80% whole bunches adding to that in the former. All fruit here was destemmed and a mixture of new and old French oak used for 16 months.
Nimble on its feet, it gains momentum and finishes with strength. Savoury herbs, a sprinkling of spice and typical Pinot earthiness mesh well with the red berry and cherry fruit. The finish is long and moreish.
Already sold out as per the website.
Drink now to the medium term.
Very good.
