Dried red flowers, red and black currants, red cherries, black olives, mushroom compost, raspberry rope, earthy - there's always plenty of aromatic interest in these Yelland & Papps wines.
On skins for nineteen days, dry fruit is presented delicately medium bodied. There's a crunchy red apple like acidity too. Quite moreish and galaxies away from some overripe examples of Grenache. Black tea leaves and pan juices add to the mouthfuls of character this exudes. Only 800 bottles produced.
Very good.
