This was much more settled on day two of tasting - a year or two in bottle will help it settle into a groove.
Good drinking, there's plenty here to keep you busy. Plum pudding, black currant, leafy Cabernet. Tomato leaf and thyme. Time in the glass produces ratatouille aromas too.
Lively in the mouth, it seems a bit frisky in its own shoes. Give it some air and it calms down nicely with a grippy nearly dusty tannin to finish. Good barbecue drinking.
Will be better in another year or two up to 2025.
