Soul Growers Slow Grown Shiraz 2014

This screams 'hello Friday' from the rooftops. Kick back and unwind with this to soothe the soul (pardon the pun).

A wine which reeks of traditional Barossa charm - no fining or filtration, 50% new French oak, plus a big ass heavy bottle you can re-use to get some bicep and tricep definition the next morning.

Handfuls of dark fruit, red berries, Caramelo Koala oak. A savoury fleck plays its hand late but the rich and generous delivery is what you'd queue up for. Uber cool swagger with smooth lines, the oak pokes through a little more than I'd hope but this is built for the long haul so it will settle without doubt.

Clever Shiraz, happiness awaits.

Drink now but will cellar long term.
