Yelland & Papps Devote Sparkling Vermentino 2014

Made in the traditional method, the fruit for this fizz comes off the first Vermentino vines in the Barossa Valley which were planted in 2006.

I do like good Vermentino. But this is top Vermentino... with fizz in it!!

Pears and apples to start moving to lemons and lemon sherbet with some subtle white flower florals. It's a clean and crisp and ridiculously refreshing. Trust me, I'm from Queensland and on a stinking hot night this ticked all the boxes.

You could have this as an aperitif, with fresh seafood, or with your toes dipped in the pool. Extra points for versatility here!
