Yalumba Vine Vale Grenache 2015

This is a new third tier Grenache in the Distinguished Sites portfolio. 300-400 dozen were produced.

2015 was the first vintage winemaker Kevin Glastonbury decided to pair back the alcohol to around 13%. He's done this with precision and the wine still maintains good body and shape.

Held in hogsheads and fermented with natural yeast, it's red fruited but framed by savoury deliciousness. Red apple crunch drives though as do dry raspberries, exotic spices and a sprinkle of cardamom. Bright and alive, there's much to admire about it's youthful exuberance. A great edition to the stable without doubt.

Drink now to eight years.
