d'Arenberg The Footbolt Shiraz 2015

Ever reliable, here's a wine too often punching above its weight. Great value, it can often be found for around the $15 mark.

There's plenty of oomph. Black fruit, dark chocolate, licorice and tilled black earth. Sift a little deeper and there's some prettier fruit in the form of blueberries. A consistent plummy drive motors along in this medium to full bodied red aimed to satisfy. Go hunting.

Drink now to ten years.
