Leeuwin Estate Art Series Riesling 2018

Riesling and dumplings are best friends so don't break a winning combo I say. This is a good drink and the dumplings were damn tasty too.

Loaded with green apple and green apple peel, some minerality pulsates through the mid-palate. Tightish acidity tightens the noose framing the palate well. Lemongrass chimes in before lime leaf and a squeeze of lime juice the parting gift. Good stuff.

Drink now to three years.

  1. Great on a warm summer's day, the acidity of Riesling really hits me but not with the Art series.

    1. Hi Jeff. You're right, some acidity in Riesling is quite brutal and sharp but this Leeuwin is soft and graceful yet still does the job well. Enjoy!
