Of the recent Shiraz and Cabernet releases from Nick Haselgrove, this was my preferred.
Mouth filling, it saps all moisture from the mouth. Cloves and dark chocolate are the savoury highlights with a firm rub of pepper. Black plums charge ahead. Puckering, dusty tannins sit long. It softened immeasurably on day two of tasting. Time in bottle will be its friend, but if drinking now, be sure to decant well before drinking to see it at its best.
