Wonderful aromas hook you in from the outset. Think licorice, purple flowers, bitumen, dusty road and tea leaves. Sour black cherries and black plum fruit cruise through the mouth. Compote and baked plum feels too. A bright red apple acidity which still holds some tension and slowly releases itself with time in the glass. Soft exotic spices clutch to a long finish as do those tea leaves which seem an integral part of its make up. I'd love to see how this presents in five years time but gee it's fab and fresh right now.
