A second chance is always a good thing and this Chardonnay exemplifies that. On opening, aromatically it was off track. I left it came back a day later where it had found its feet.
Barrel fermented, some lanolin and hay scents had shifted to praline, cashew and fig. Fine textural appeal sits underneath white fleshed stone fruit. Some warming spice to close which clings to a long finish. Let it breathe.
