A great wine that has been barrel fermented and layered with intrigue - this is no surprise given it is from Levantine Hill's meticulous Paul Bridgeman.
It's textural and carries some weight. Yellow flowers and stonefruits with a rub of interest plus a hint of vanilla stroll through the mouth. Fine spices are tossed about - think cinnamon, star anise and a touch of white pepper. Great width, it hangs long too. Very clever.
Drink to five years.
