Gamay is ever-reliable when done well. This release from De Bortoli ticks that box. It's a lovely drink.
Soft with smooth edges, it flows beautifully. Lovely aromas fold into a great fruit presence in the mouth. Right in the slot of medium-bodied, you would be a hard marker to deny the pleasure and the easy-going nature of its persona. I could easily kick back with a few glasses.
Drink to three years.
